Registration:
Registration is held twice a year, August is
for all three sessions with classes from September thought June,
May is for the six week summer workshop.
Notices or confirmations are not mailed out, so please mark your
calendar as to when tuition is due (see registration form).
If we must bill you, a $25.00 late fee will be charged to your
account. There is also a $25.00 fee for check returned by
the bank.
Refund Policy:
If a student withdraws before classes begin
the $25.00 registration fee will be withheld. If a student
wishes to withdraw once classes have begun, you must notify the
office in writing at least one week prior to the payment.
Refunds are only given in case of a serious medical problem
(physicians note required) or family relocation, otherwise you are
responsible for paying for the remainder of the sessions.
Addressing the Instructors:
Dancers are kindly asked to refer to the instructors and staff at
the Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance as Miss, Ms., Mr., and Mrs.
(Last name).
Make up Classes and Absences:
All class cancellations will be posted on the
bulletin board and the the door of the studio. Phone calls
will not be made. Classes cancelled by the instructor will
be rescheduled. Any missed by the dancer must be made up in
a class referred by the instructor.
Inclement weather during the winter months
may cause classes to be cancelled. RMSD follows the school
closings for district 47 and 155. Phone calls will not be
made.
Waiting Area:
Parents are asked to wait in the lobby while class is in session.
Please keep young children in hand while they are in the waiting
area. Dancers are asked to wait in the dressing room until
asked to enter the studio. Parents and boys are not allowed
in the women's dressing area.
Watching Week:
Watching weeks will be announced to the students and posted on the
bulletin board. For more information on watching week please
see our "Dates to Remember" page. No food, drink, strollers or shoes are allowed in the
studios. For the safety of our dancers, toddlers must remain
seated.
General:
Parents should check the bulletin boards and signs in the windows
for announcements about the
Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance, The
McDance Company
and
other items of interest. |
