Teaching Philosophy
For Ms. Reis, dance education is about more than simply mastering choreography.
She strives to build strong, thoughtful technique while encouraging dancers to move beyond what feels familiar and explore new possibilities in every class.
Mandy challenges her students to step outside their comfort zones, discover new movement, and develop a deeper understanding of their own capabilities as dancers.
Her goal is to help each dancer grow in:
Strength • Technical Ability • Confidence • Musicality • Artistry • Individual Expression
Most importantly, Ms. Reis wants every dancer to discover their own unique way of moving. She believes that strong technique provides the foundation, but individuality is what allows a dancer to truly connect with their movement and become an artist.
